Well, I would first like to thank my wonderful sister Amy for making my blog all cute. I love it and she did a great job, thanks Amy!
So far my posts have been in order of our life events, but from now on I am just gonna post randomly as I feel like it. I know that you are all curious as to what has been going on in our lives since we moved to Florida. We have been here a week, and honestly, I have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, it has been fabulous! After this past school year I feel like I deserve a break and do nothing but be a mom. I love it. Besides nothing, we have gone to Walmart twice (sorry Scott), gone on a walk around our apartments that has 1,000 or so units (it took 45 minutes, but I was going slow), played in the pool, watched TV, played with toys, and changed lots of diapers.
Last Sunday McKensie had her first solid food. It was tons of fun! She didn't know what to think at first but by the end of the meal she was getting pretty good at it. Yum, yum, yum, gotta love that rice cereal. I have a video of McKensie eating her first solid food and I will post it as soon as I get the cord I need to connect the computer to the camera. But that will have to wait until we get the $ for it, sorry guys. After about five days she had banana's. Her face was hilarious the first bite as if saying, "what is this stuff???". After a few bites she decided she liked it and was opening her mouth wide for more.
Brett has been here for about four weeks and is working hard. He works Monday through Saturday so he hardly has any fee time. For those of you who don't know, he is working for a company call APX selling home alarm systems. It is a really tuff job but he is doing well, and it definitely keeps him busy. He took last Monday off of work for his birthday and to show me around. We went to the beach, we didn't get in the water or anything but we got the stroller out and just walked around looking at everything, it is beautiful here.
Playing with Daddy after three whole weeks of being apart. The first thing Brett said when he saw her was that she was huge. We can't decide if she remembered him or not, but Brett was just happy that she didn't cry when she saw him.

Kensie playing with her toys
Well Aunt Amy, I am sorry to say it, but you have been replaced. You are no long the only person in Kensie's life that can get her to laugh hysterically. This is Kensie's new best friend, Kimberley. She came to visit us the other night and from the moment Kensie saw her she started smiling and laughing. They had a lot of fun together.
The Giant Duck:
Up until now I have bathed Kensie in the kitchen sink. Our sink at this apartment however doesn't work that well. I didn't want to put Kensie in the real bath tub yet for many reasons and so we got this cute giant duck for bath time. She LOVES it and and plays like crazy each night during her bath.

I love her new bathtub!!! That's so cute!
And Kimberly can be my stand-in... but I will never be replaced. Ha ha.
We were going to get one of those tubs - but we didn't know how big it was. Now I see, they are huge! :D I love your blog!
